Digging into 2022!

Guide Construction Lakehouse Design Build

What a year it has been! We are incredibly thankful for our adaptable and level headed team as we’ve continued to face the challenges of the construction supply chain and changing costs. Everyday has been a new dance towards successful projects. Our trade partners and vendors have supported us every step of the way, and brought their good humor and expertise to help us and our clients succeed.

This year has been exceptionally busy, and we are ecstatic to have finished a large redesign and renovation project with an addition and garage conversion. There were a lot of moving parts on this project and many structural and aesthetic problems that needed to be solved every step of the way. Our clients Pat and Kristine could not have been better partners through this journey.

Looking ahead to 2022 we are super excited to dig a little deeper into the world of site work. We will be designing and building a few new homes as well as conducting all of the site work for these projects.

As Guide continues to grow and change we are excited to take our skills that we have cultivated through years of site work and apply it to backcountry road and trail building. We truly love interacting with the natural world and our goal is to take on more projects that get us outside, working with the land around us.

We’re here to help bring the backcountry to your backyard! In 2021 we created a trail system for a passionate mountian biker on less than 3 acres (pictured above), making post-work rides as simple as pedaling out the door. Whether it is creating mountain bike trails, backcountry roads, or secluded cabin builds, we’re eager to bring our creativity and experience to this new realm. Maybe it’s a network of walking trails in your woods, or a hunting tree house. If you’re looking to connect more with the outdoors, we are all ears!

We wish you joy & peace as we head into the New Year!
